David Christopher Schlierenkämper

Born in 1975 in Lippstadt, Germany, David Christopher is a police detective by day and a whisky connoisseur by night. A renowned figure in the whisky and cigar circuit in Germany, he has been invited to speak at many tastings and workshops for brands such as Glenfiddich, Balvenie, Tullamore DEW, Wild Turkey, Hudson Whisky, Girvan and Kininvie.

In 2014, he started the Whisky & Art project with his artist friend Mario Bitzer. David often travels around the world for his whisky business and enjoys painting beautiful landscapes of distilleries in Ireland, Scotland, USA and other countries. Together with Mario, both artists have a created a series of paintings for Whisky & Art.

David always opens his exhibitions with a rarity Whisky Tasting in the City of Essen. He enjoys painting with acrylics and oils and his other works include the Classic Monster Movie Series, The Washroom Series, The Cookie Monster and the Soldier Clowns.

The Distillery Series is now on exhibit at Homes65.
